Current Initiatives
Aside from our programs, the 5K Foundation is known for its initiatives geared towards community empowerment and developmental causes
Community Clean Up
In partnership with local residents, our goal is to improve the cleanliness and aesthetics of our neighborhoods. Our primary goal is to remove litter, debris, and other environmental hazards from public areas. In addition to increasing cleanliness, these initiatives help promote social cohesion by fostering a sense of pride in one's neighborhood.
Girl Talk
"Girl Talk" is a program organized by 5K Foundation, Inc for girls with a focus on building self-confidence and personal development. This program aims at empowering young ladies to make the most out of their abilities and to pursue their dreams.
Barbershop Talk
5K Foundation, Inc promotes men's health within the community by organizing Barbershop Talk. This initiative provides free health screening and education, as well as a supportive and therapeutic environment for men to address and talk about health challenges.
Safe Zones
The foundation dedicates itself to making the streets safe for children and residents in under-resourced communities. The Safe Zones project creates safe areas within troubled neighborhoods where children can play without worries of encountering gang violence or negative influences.
Back to School Drive
5K Foundation, Inc also organizes a Back-to-School Drive program for kids within underserved communities to provide them with the necessary school supplies and clothes to start off the school year right.
